Revitalising and making agriculture sustainable will be the focus of ECCB Digital Dialogues, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank’s (ECCB) online discussion forum, on 10 September.
The panel will comprise: the Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour in the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines - Saboto Caesar; Farmer and Retired Agricultural Officer from Grenada - Theresa Marryshow, and Entrepreneur from Saint Kitts and Nevis - Daniel Arthurton. They will explore the important role of food security in building resilience and the socio-economic transformation in the region. The Governor of the ECCB, Timothy N. J. In light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on access to safe and nutritious food, the panel will also discuss the possibilities that digital technologies offer for enhancing agricultural production and the efficiency of markets.
